Guides
Guides is an excellent opportunity to do something different. Girls create their own campaigns, learn and share new skills. They explore new places like camps, trips and enjoys exciting events like Tartan Gig.
As girls progress through Guides, they'll have a chance to lead small groups and support younger girls and make friends. They can even get involved in our leadership opportunities.
Girls decide together in their groups what they do in their meetings, choosing from a wide range of badges, skills and activities covered by our six programme themes. Whether they want to try a new sport, have ago at performing, run a debate or brush up their First Aid - they can!
Guides are resilient and continue unit meetings online when required, by using an adapted programme to continue Guiding at home.
Guides can work towards interestbadges - about photography, geocaching, human rights and more- develop life skills with skill builders and earn unique awards like the Commonwealth Award, the Guide Gold Award and the six Theme Awards, to help the girls in school and later in life.
